I live in a time lapse world… The discovery of time lapse photography was a magical revelation for me as a movement artist.  At times I feel, sense and see time lapse amongst everyday things.

Film to me is the investigation of movement specifically for frame, a chance to perfect artistically, sensory experience through location, movement and frame choices. It can present detail and embellish performance, and gives the viewer a window into another world or reality. Film has the ability to preserve a piece of time. Once created, a film can be viewed at any time at the viewer’s desire; it is timeless and can be viewed and reviewed for years to come.

It can travel anywhere in the world and therefore holds an intimate resonance for the viewer. I love the potential of film and movement collaboration.

"The human form itself is a story, we are constantly moving, breathing, we are dancing through life."
~ Billie Cook
