Billie has taught workshops to children, youth and professional dance artists and actors.  Her workshops range from community dance, creative movement, composition and choreographic skills in contemporary dance.  Of particular interest to Billie is the practice of dynamic floor work, flipping, jumping and elevation.

Billie has taught dance class for Australian Dance Theatre, Buzz Dance Theatre (Perth), Siwela Sonke (South Africa), Restless Dance Theatre, Tutti Kids, on projects with Sue Healey, for freelance dance artists throughout Adelaide and Perth, and for The Performing Arts School, Harlem.

Wether dancing with children or adults with and without a disability, on projects with young indigenous women, in schools throughout Adelaide, Perth and the deserts of Western Australia, or for actors and opera singers at Flinders University and Adelaide University, Billie is inspired to share dance, movement and music with others.

“You have to love dancing to stick to it. It gives you nothing back, no manuscripts to store away, no paintings to show on walls and maybe hang in museums, no poems to be printed and sold, nothing but that single fleeting moment when you feel alive.”
~ Merce Cunningham
